A special greeting from Italy and Guidobono school.

Guidobono school is located in the centre of Savona,  a seaside resort near Genoa north west of Italy.

Today this city is   part of the important itineraries and  it  discloses the magic  of its "caruggi" (typical narrow lanes), the shade of its towers, between a formidable fortress and the sea of Liguria.

The school provides a high standard of education and a wide range of extra curricular activities: musical events are well attended and involve many pupils, sporting and extra curriculum activities are offered to all students.

Our school encourages the self-esteem of all pupils and  promotes effective teaching, long life learning, local and international relationships.

The international goal of “Guidobono school” is to develop interest about different countries and cultures, to improve global knowledge and

to promote an  international dimension enabling students to become active and responsible citizens.

The school promotes a positive attitude  to the school environment and has lots of laboratories where students can  follow  a common  balanced curriculum and  a wide range of activities and opportunities.

Students can enjoy drama, play an instrument in the school orchestra or they can have fun in taking part in European competitions. The last but not the least has been the “Spring Day for Europe” activities where they  had the chance to  practise solidarity, team work, fun  and they got more awareness of the importance of knowing and respecting other people, different languages and values.
