COLEGIO ISAAC MARTIN
SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA

Colegio Isaac Martin (High School) is a private school of about 480 students from preschool up to eleventh grade. It is situated in Moravia, a suburb of the capital city of San José. Class sizes range from 15 to 25 students and students study subjects required by the National High School Curriculum ( Spanish, English, Social Studies, Civics, Science, and Math) On top of that students also take computer, physical education, and character formation classes, plus an artistic elective of their choice (music, art, chess, etc.) Through out the year there are special annual events like a Sports Festival, Talent Show, Science Fair, Independence Day celebrations, etc. Once a week students also have a class dedicated to development of Science Fair projects that deal with on the field topics from our school ecological park. Students study and take care of different types of plants and living things that are typical of the many different habitats in Costa Rica and that are represented in the park.
