3rd Graders learn Green Building from RPI students
Students from the Department of Science and
Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute spoke with Hamagrael
3rd graders on April 10 about green building principles and
concepts. The 3rd graders constructed their own green buildings that
they then arranged to create their own town.
The RPI students represented several academic disciplines including
green architects, engineers, and physicists. Their visit was
arranged by SmartKids NY, an informal STEM initiative of Innovators
Ink, LLC, designed to introduce 3rd graders to renewable and
alternative energy, as well as green technologies.

A reminder for our fifth grade parents...
Some of you may receive e-mail notices from our school. These are sent via our School News Notifier (SNN) system, which you are not automatically enrolled in, and must sign up for on your own.
You may be enrolled in the Hamagrael message list, but keep in mind that as your student transitions to the middle school, you'll need to sign up for the BCMS message list. READ MORE »
