A note for parents:
Our school libraries are partners in your
child's education! We collaborate with teachers to
design, implement and evaluate lessons. Numerous
studies have proven the link between having a certified
school librarian and higher student test and reading
scores.
We don't just check out books. We teach students how to
research, use databases, and select the best technology
for their needs...all while fostering a love of reading!
This website is just one example of what school
librarians do for schools. We support teachers and the
curriculum by maintaining websites like this with
subject appropriate links, purchasing curriculum-related
resources, and helping teachers with technology.
Librarians are here for the entire school!
