American Education Week was full of learning, activities and fun!
Eagle was buzzing last week with activities for American Education Week and our Fall Book Fair. It was great to have our parents, grandparents and special guests visit our classrooms and have lunch with the students.
Some of our special events included: Kindergarten classes celebrated 50 days of school in style with root beer floats and hoola hooping; 4th grade classes learned about rocks and minerals; Auction winners rode the fire truck to school; families enjoyed the book fair; and the grand finale - our Turkey Trot! CAPER was the place to be on November 13
We had an awesome crowd for our first CAPER event. Thank you to our announcers and readers who all received a certificate and to all guests who “snuggled” up for a fun evening of reading. VIEW PHOTOS »
We hope to see you at the next event on December 11! This is a wonderful family event for children and parents to enjoy together relaxing and listening to our very own Eagle student readers. Bring a blanket, sleeping bag or pillow pet to snuggle up on. This will be an ongoing program occurring the 2nd Wednesday of each month: Dec. 11, Jan. 15, Feb. 12, March 12 and April 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Annual auction a huge success!
The Eagle PTO would like to thank everyone who
came out to support the 3rd Annual Silent Auction! From all the
people who helped pull the night together along with everyone who
came out to bid on items and buy raffle tickets! The evening was a
big success – raising just over $8,200!

And we are already thinking about next year's auction and hope you will too! There is a contact form on the blog and we would love to hear from you! Perhaps you have feedback you would like to give, an item you think we should get for next year or maybe you would like to join the auction team? While we do need an event co-chair for next year, there are also jobs big and small that we need help with. Thank you again for your amazing support of the event! Hope to see you at next year’s auction!

Eagle's Feather Winners

Feathers are given to those students who are noticed making an outstanding contribution to Eagle’s community. On Monday mornings we announce the students who have received a feather. The feathers are put on the bulletin board in the front hall and their names will be posted on our web page. SEE FEATHER WINNERS »
